The controller general of the Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan, Dr
Hammam
Sa'id, said that the ummah [community of Muslims worldwide] has
covered a large ground and it is now experiencing a new phase of
the
phases of faith and jihad and the request for jihad. He said that
the
best evidence of this is the legendary steadfastness on the land of
Egypt, where the people do not fear death and killing, but meet
their

fate with pleasure, because they are paying the price of their
position on Jerusalem.
Speaking during the opening of the 13th Al-Aqsa Festival under the
slogan "We will soon meet in Al-Aqsa," which is held by the Islamic
movement annually in Al-Karak Governorate, Dr Sa'id added that what
is taking place on the land of Egypt now is a link in the
liberation
of Al-Aqsa, which has become imminent. He noted that the Jews, who
felt after President Muhammad Mursi assumed the leadership of Egypt
that the date of the liberation of Al-Aqsa has arrived, and after
God
had sent to Egypt a leader with the vigor of Salah-al-Din, have
prepared themselves and stood on the side of those whom he said are
the coupists of Egypt for the purpose of delaying the battle for
the
liberation of Jerusalem. But it is the failure, which we observe
while we see honorable pictures of devotion and steadfastness on
the
land of Egypt.
Dr Sa'id went on to say that the ummah must realize the immensity
of
the plot while it sees its links succeeding each other. In this
respect, he pointed to the resumption of the so-called peace
negotiations with the Zionists. He said that these negotiations are
the last link of the links of the plot. They are negotiations, Dr
Sa'id said, that are doomed to failure, since "the good signs of
victory are clear."
On the local Jordanian affairs, the controller general said that
the
Islamic movement adheres to the demands for reform, given that the
achievement of reform in Jordan is a great step toward the
liberation
of Jerusalem. Once the people have obtained their freedom and
independent will, they will not be deceived, as he said, by any
treaties or policies that serve the Jews.
Hamzah Mansur, secretary general of the Islamic Action Front [IAF]
Party, emphasized the adherence of the Islamic movement to its
stands, even if the defeatists fell and the plotters plotted. He
rejected what he described as the intrigue against the movement,
which has proven to everyone far and near that it is at the
vanguard
of those who are loyal to the ummah's values and principles. He

added: We are celebrating Al-Aqsa week this year while the ummah is
going through a state of labor.
Mansur attacked the Arab regimes, especially the Gulf regimes,
which
he said, have sided with the coupists of Egypt, who aim with their
coup against legitimacy, according to Mansur, to make the Egyptian
people surrender to the US and Zionist will. He considered America
the spearhead in the suffering of the ummah. He condemned what he
called the submission of the Arab regimes to America's will.
The secretary general went on to say: The ummah is capable of
renewing itself and building the model homeland. A new reality, he
said, is taking shape in the Arab world. He noted that the battle
of
Palestine is the battle of the ummah with all its components, and
that anyone who targets Palestine is targeting Jordan. Jordan, he
said, will not get out of what he described as the circle of the
plot. He stressed the adherence to the reform demands in Jordan,
given that this is a national necessity, with which we protect
Jordan
so that it can assume its vanguard role in the liberation of
Al-Aqsa.
Mansur called on the officials in Jordan to adopt five stands.
First
Jordan should assume its responsibilities for protecting Jerusalem
from Judaization. Second, it should not relinquish the right of
return of the Palestinian people, since return is a right and
conceding it is a crime against the ummah. [Third] he also called
for
not standing on the side of the coupists in Egypt. [Fourth] he
asked
for taking quick action to achieve comprehensive national reform.
[Fifth] he also asked for releasing the prisoners of opinion and
guaranteeing public freedoms.
Abd-al-Rahman Abu-al-Hayja, a leader in the Islamic Movement in the
1948-occupied Palestine, said that the liberation of Al-Aqsa is the
responsibility of the entire ummah. He noted that the ummah is
experiencing a crucial stage these days, because what is happening
in
some parts of the Arab world represents the ummah's alignment to
itself, while it is currently waging what he termed the battle of
identity, which is not the battle of a single person or a single
party, or the battle of seats and rule, but, for us, it is the

Abu-al-Hayja noted that the Jewish enemy is exploiting the Arab
peoples' preoccupation with organizing their internal affairs to do
what it wants so as to assert its domination on the land of
Palestine
and its holy places.
After singer Al-Mu'tasim-Billah Dabsh presented some religious
songs,
poet Dr Ayman al-Utum delivered some of his poems, in which he
reviewed the state of the ummah and what is faced by Al-Aqsa and
Palestine. The poems also referred to what is taking place on the
land of Egypt.
Engineer Hassan Dhunaybat, representative of Al-Karak branch of the
IAF Party, said in a welcoming speech that Al-Aqsa shall remain our
gibla and the pointer of our compass. In his speech, he praised the
Egyptian people's struggle against those whom he said staged a coup
against legitimacy. He said that anyone who blesses the coup or
deals
with the coupists does not represent the ummah and does not speak
in
its name.
At the end of the activities of the opening day, Eng Al-Dhunaybat
presented honor shields to the guests of the festival from outside
Al-Karak Governorate.
