(U) What's News Poll: What Type of Schedule Would You Prefer to Work?
From 30 January �13 February, Whats News will run an unscientfic, anonymous workforce poll asking officers what type
of schedule they would prefer to work, using the chart below for work schedule definitons
Types of Work Schedules
Standard Schedule Scheduled work with traditonal hours (i e 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM to
5:30 PM)
Compressed Work Work with set hours and days during traditonal hours, allowing for one or
Schedule two regularly scheduled days off each pay period e 5/4/9 or 4/10)
Flexible Work Schedule-Includes ophons such as Maxiflex, with your core hours set on fewer than
Traditonal dayhme hours 10 days and flexible hours allowed during traditonal dayhme hours
Flexible hours worked at night and on weekends under a FWS are not
eligible for Night Differental (ND) or Sunday Premium Pay (SPP)
Flexible Work Schedule-Includes ophons such as Maxiflex, with your core hours set on one or two
Night and weekend days during traditonal dayhme hours and flexible hours allowed on nights
hours and weekends (i e 4:00 AM to 1:30 PM, 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM)
Flexible hours worked at night/weekends under a FWS are not eligible for
ND or SPP
ShiftWork Schedule Anon-standard compressed Upton you are required to work due to positon
dues and 24/7 staffing requirement for the office
