Unfortunately; we will not be able to accommodate your request to tour CIA in connection with your book project on Bob Levinson, particularly given that we have no comment for you on this topic. I know this s not what you wanted to hear, but that's Du r final position. Thanks for your interest and hopefulD we can do business on other matters. Just following up on my earlier note to you re the book I'm writing. I may be down in the Washington area late next week. Would it be possible to coordinate a visit then? I'm the reporter here at the Times that's been following the Robert Levinson saga. I am writing because I recently reached an agreement with Farrar, Straus & Giroux to write a book about it. As you know, I am not a national security reporter (actually, I usually cover drugs, medical devices, etc.) That said, I was hoping to make a visit to the CIA soon so I can describe the building, setting with some accuracy. I'd also like to get a generic understanding of some procedural issues that I'll have to address in the book. Would this be possible? Thanks for the consideration.
