We processed your request in accordance with the FOIA, 5 U.S.C. � 552, as amended, and the CIA Information Act, 50 U.S.C. � 431, as amended. Our processing included a search for records that reveal an openly acknowledged Agency affiliation existing up to and including the date the Agency started its search and as described in our 12 January 2012 acceptance letter. We completed a thorough search for records responsive to your request and located 11 documents, consisting of 121 pages, which we can release in segregable form with deletions made on the basis of FOIA exemptions (b)(3), (b)(4), and (b)(6). Copies of the documents and an explanation of exemptions are enclosed. Exemption (b)(3) pertains to information exempt from disclosure by statute. The relevant statute if the Central Intelligence Agency Act of 1949, 50 U.S.C. � 403g, as amended, Section 6, which exempts from the disclosure requirement information pertaining to the organization and functions, including those related to the protection of intelligence sources and methods. For any other information regarding the subject of your request, in accordance with section 3.6(a) of Executive Order 13526, the CIA can neither confirm nor deny the existence or nonexistence of records responsive to your request. The fact of the existence or nonexistence of requested records is currently and properly classified and is intelligence sources and methods information that is protected from disclosure by section 6 of the CIA Act of 1949, as amended, and section 102A(i)(1) of the National Security Act of 1947, as amended. Therefore, your request is denied pursuant to FOIA exemptions (b)(1) and (b)(3). As the CIA Information and Privacy Coordinator, I am the CIA official responsible for this determination. You have the right to appeal this response to the Agency Release Panel, in my care, within 45 days from the date of this letter. Please include the basis of your appeal. We also noted your agreement to pay all fees associated with this request. The costs associated with processing your request amount to $127.10. This consists of 2 3/4 hours of clerical search time at $5 per quarter hour for a cost of $55, 1/2 hour of professional search time at $10 per quarter hour for a cost of $20, four on-line computer searches (at a flat rate of $10 per search) for a cost of $40, and 11 documents, consisting of 121 pages, at a cost of ten cents per page, for a cost of $12.10. Enclosed is a copy of our fee schedule for your review and retention. However, since you are entitled to two hours of free search time and 100 free pages, the total cost associated with processing your request amounts to $67.10.
