I'd like to make a FOIA request for documents related to Google, the Internet
search engine based in Mountain View, Calif. My request is for the following:
1) All contracts involving Google as a vendor, product supplier or consultant
from Aug. 1, 2006 to the present
2) The 500 most recent e-mails to and from the address ending with
@google.com, Google's corporate e-mail domain, that meet the following
criteria:
- Should be a server based search of live e-mails, not archived e-mails.
Search should be conducted on three e-mail servers that are used primarily
CIA headquarters e-mail. Searching more servers is necessary only if you fail
to find enough responsive e-mails from the first three servers.
E-mails released should not be duplicative (for example, I'm only interesteda
the final e-mail of a back-and4orth conversation as long as that e-mail also
contains earlier messages in the string).
E-mails released should have at least 50 percent of the contents visible
following any redactions (e-mails with less material visible, and therefore
unresponsive to my request, should not be counted to the 500 total that I am
seeking).
I'm willing to pay all necessary processing fees. However, I may be eligible for a
waiver for some or all of the costs based on my job as a journalist. If you have any
