1. of ORD discussed cam&ra requirements
on April 18th for CHIGOE with the writer.
2. A K A-53 A with a 12"-lens and a stable mount was
.--)gmended for vertical large-scale photography. Confirmec
.a Chicago Aerial Industries that this camera would be
s -able at 500' to 5000' and 220 knots if the lens were
ocussed to 2000' instead of infinity. An ART-63 or AT-2-_
stable mount produced by Aeroflex and stand stock wiL_
accommodate the camera. It was agreed that would go to
his normal Navy support contact for these items.
3. I agreed to supply a 70 mm tracker camera complete.
with IMC, automatic exposure control, plastic bubble, and
Jw)unt ring. IMC is to be modified for low altitude. Two
70 mm trackers are now at Perkin Elmer frpm FOG assets awaiting
Iran. One of these may be released for this purpose. These
cameras have exposure control and IMC capabilities whereas
Agency trackers do not, has been queried about release
of camera.
