Freedom of Information Act request for records "related to uranium diversion from the Nuclear
Materials and Equipment Corporation (NUMEC) to Israel."
We can appreciate your concern with not having received a final response to your
request. Our response time is unfortunately predicated on the number and complexity of the
requests we receive. Even when a request reaches the top of the queue, we must go through the
time-consuming task of reviewing each and every document, assuming documents are in fact
found. This process is necessary in order to fulfill the statutory obligation this agency has to
