Westbrook resulted in no records located. The FOIA case manager also informed the requester that more
complete biographic information on Mr. Chenault and Dr. Slaughter would be needed before a search
could be conducted. Also, the requester was asked to commit to pay fees before any searches would be
conducted.

(UHATOtIrDow Jones, Wall Street Journal Hope to Protect Their Sources, Look to CIA for Help
(U/ittIlltt) Dow Jones & Company, as publishers of the Wall Street Journal , submitted a FOIA request for records
sufficient to show communication between the United States Government and the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency
(SAMA), or any other Saudi Arabian government agency, concerning the monitoring by SAMA or any other banking
authority of bank accounts associated with three particular Saudi - related financial entities. In early 2002, the Wall
Street Journal published an article alleging that accounts belonging to the three named entities were included on a
post 9/11 list the USG provided to SAMA for monitoring. The publication of this article prompted the entities in
question to file defamation actions in the High Court in London, England, against the Wall Street Journal's
European edition. In asking for this information, the requester, an Associate General Counsel for Dow Jones
indicated that the Journal's reporter had a number of sources for the information in question, but that disclosure of
those sources could be quite difficult.

(UMAtIlft) From the Archives: Allen Dulles-President Wilson Connection
(U/Ltilea). In 1960, the Woodrow Wilson Foundation invited DCI Allen Dulles to serve on their Sponsors
Committee. In a 29 August 1960 letter, which was recently reviewed by the DCI team at the CIA Declassification
Center, DCI Dulles responded that he would accept their invitation, stating, "Wilson was president of Princeton
when I was there as a freshman, just before he became governor of New Jersey, and I had the honor and privilege of
serving under him in a modest capacity during my early years in the Diplomatic Service, particularly at the Paris
Peace Conference of 1919."
