Dear Ms Nelson:
I am writing in response to your letter dated February 19, 2010 regarding the above
I do not know the citizen us of Mr. Miller. 1 believe he was a naturalized citizen.
He was born in I believe he is deceased but cannot find an obituary on
him. He served as a civilian personnel director for the U. S. Army Air Forces during
WW 11. He was president and board chairman of what became the CIA proprietary - Air
America until 1952 when he accepted the presidency of U.S. Airlines. Prior to his
involvement with Air America, he was employed by Flying Tigers. My interest in Mr.
Miller is almost entirely involved with his connection to Air America.
As stated in my initial request, I will pay up to $50.00. Beyond that amount, please
advise me of the anticipated cost -- which I will pay within the limits of my ability.
