Dear Mr. Johnson:
This is a final response to your undated (postmarked 18 February 2010) Freedom
of Information Act (FOIA) request, received in the office of the Information and Privacy
Coordinator on 4 March 2010, for the following:
1. Declassified, comprehensive examples of the use of mathematics and logic
regularly used in intelligence analysis.
2. Would like to know which Universities offer courses in intelligence and what
textbooks they use?
In reference to Item 1, our records systems are not configured in a way that would
allow us to perform a search reasonably calculated to lead to responsive records.
Therefore, we must decline to process your request for Item 1.
In response to Item 2, the FOIA was enacted to provide a means for the general
public to access government records. Under the provisions of the FOIA, federal agencies
are not required to answer questions posed as FOIA requests. Since your request does
not constitute a request for records, we must decline to process Item 2.
