NOTE FOR dell Wallace
Wendell:
Let me add my words of commendation to
those in the attached. It was no secret to
me that your smooth hand eliminated many
problems before they ever became such.
Clearly your skills were widely recognized
downtown as well. Thanks again for a fine
performance.

THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON
President's
Foreign Intelligence
Advisory Board
Dear Bill:
March 26, 1985
I recently learned that Wendell Wallace has left his position as Executive
Assistant to the Executive Director
As you know, for nearly three years, Wendell served as PFIAB's day-to-day point
of contact with CIA. I wanted you to know how much the PFIAB members and staff
appreciated the support and assistance Wendell gave us during-hig-Yenure. We
called him on almost a daily basis with innumerable requests for materials,
trip and meeting arrangements, questions, clarifications, and a host of other
matters, all of which were invariably handled in a timely and responsive manner.
Given that many of the Board's projects have involved the Agency, our success
and effectiveness would not have been possible without Wendell's gracious and
expert assistance.
I hope you will share these sentiments with Wendell and communicate our
best wishes for continued success in his new position.
With warm regards.
Sincerely,
Anne L. Arms rong
Chairman
The Honorable William J. Casey
