FROM: Director of Central Intelligence-
SUBJECT: Yellow Rain
1. Please get in touch with Jerry Hannon, a scientific officer at the
Naval Research Center in Maryland. He claimes to have determined a method
of establishing the existence of Yellow Rain with certainty.
2. As I gather-i he-has isolated the fluid which creates the light in
the bug or insect which carries Yellow Rain. He is said to be dead certain
about this but has had trouble in interesting the military chemical warfare
people. I'd like to have his story collected and eval ated scientifically.
