DENMARK: British to begin repatriation of German refugees--US Lega- tion Copenhagen reports that the British have decided to repatriate from Denmark apparoximately 10,000 German refugees formerly domiciled in what is now the UK Zone in Germany "irrespective of quadripartite action In Berlin." US Consul Saigon reports that the French authori- ties will recommend that US and British observers be sent to the area to prevent further destruction and possible distortion of events when the French move in. DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: Unidentified submarines unloading "apparatus"-- The State Department has informed Butler that the US Navy will conduct an investigation to determine whether unidentified submarines have been unloading "mysterious apparatus" in the Dominican Republic as report- ed locally.
