(and with apologies for the delay--this
got lost
in the Czech crisis), I am forwarding

emorandum which contains a list of such American partici-
pants in the WYF as we have been able to identify from
our files. You will note that in each case we have
indicated whether the source for such identification was
overt or classified material.
2. It is my understanding that you asked us for this
information in response to a request from a senior staff
member of the House Un-American Activities Committee.
Insofar as CA Staff is concerned, there is no objection to
your making the attached list available to HUAC. However,
in order to avoid a possible crossing of wires, please
obtain the concurrence of C/Cl/OP/DO (Mr. Richard Ober
