7. Latin America:
CONBUR, a cooperative organization of the in-
telligence services of countries that border on Argentina.
Although CONDOR is still in an organizational phase, decisions
were reached to invite the Peruvian and Ecuadorian intelligence
services to join; to strengthen the system and give it the po-
tential of a large intelligence community encompassing hemis-
pheric and global questions, as well as the internal affairs of
each member country; and to implement formal reporting proce- NR
dures.
