1. On 20 September 1953 a supply ship from the Chinese Nationalist Garrison Head-
quarters on Chinmen was in Hong Kong. On its return to Chinmen the ship was to
carry supplies and approximately 130 men of Military age. These men were to
have been assembled from among refugees at Rennie 's Mill Camp and from other
places in Hong. Kong and Macao. Prior to the ship's departure from Hong Kong, the
men were to receive .80 as a daily subsistence allowance.1
2. LU Hsiu,shan (7120/4423/1472) represented the Chinmen Garrison Headquarters in
Hong Kong. LU4 a section chief of the garrison headquarters, had been a regi-
mental commander under General RU Lien.
Comment.

(3769/2577/3932), during late November 1952 at the Rennie's Mill Camp.
Of 1,300 men at the refugee camp who had been granted permission to enter
Taiwan, 300 were natives of Fukien who were sent directly to Chinmen for
guerrilla warfare duty following training.
