They plan to blow up bridges and police posts begin- ning sometime this week. Since the first indications of the landing at Saltrou, the Haitian armed forces (FAdtH) and the civil militia (VSN) have been placed on alert. At best the invaders can only hope to reach the rugged mountains nearby, and carry out guerrilla activities. The FAdi H and the VSN would be hard pressed if there were further landings. In any event there does not appear to be an immediate danger to the Duvalier dictatorship. fAllaP) 1 July 64 DAILY BRIEF 6 (b)(1) (b)(3) A T .
