MEMORANDUM FOR: Mr. Copy
SUBJECT: Agency Involvement in the Watergate Case
I first became acquainted with Howard Hunt in 1964
when he was in the Domestic Operations Division dealing
with American publishers and I was I had
occassional meetings in his office to discuss operational
matters of mutual interest. I was entertained once in
his home and I reciprocated the hospitality once.
After leaving my position in AF Division in April
1966 for assignment overseas, I had no further contact
until early 1969 when I was assigned to headquarters in
the A/DCI office.
I saw Hunt twice socially at farewell parties for

Several months after the death of Hunt's
December 1972, I had a conversation with
of DDO/FE whom I had known when she worked with Hunt
in '64 and '65 and the subject of Hunt was mentioned.
She indicated she had had some recent contact with him
and that he had been very hard hit by the loss of his
wife. I asked her to convey.my condolences to him.
I've had no other dealings directly or indirectly with
Hunt.
