memoranda of a classified nature which were the subject of a court
proceeding initiated by John Wesley Dean, UI. 1 understand that a similar
letter was sent to the Secretary of Defense and a copy of the Deputy
Secretary of Defense's letter of 25 May in response has been forwarded
to us for our information.
