Dear Mr. Warner:
As was explained to you by Mr. Akerman on Tuesday,
July 24, 1973, several questions have arisen in the course
of our investigation of Watergate related matters concerning
International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation and the
persons who were employed by Gordon Liddy, E. Howard Hunt,
and Bernard Barker. It would be of great assistance to us
if the CIA would supply answers to the following questions:
1) Have any of the following individuals been employed
by or associated with the CIA: Felipe de Diego, Pablo
Fernandez, Angelo Ferrer, Hiram Gonzalez, Humberto Lopez,
and Hal Hendrix? If so, what was the nature of each indi-
viduali-s CIA involvement?
2) is the CIA aware of any intelligence or under-
cover activities undertaken by ITT against the Zallean
government in the United States?
3) Is the CIA aware of any type of arrangements between
ITT and the Mullen Company?
4) Does the CIA have any working relationship with the
ITT Public Relations Office located-at 495 BilLuore Nay,
Coral Gables, Florida, or any inforwation on this particular
ITT office?
5) Is the CIA aware of any intelligence or undercover
activities performed by Howard Hunt and/or Gordon Liddy
for ITT?
