QUESTION:
f. Would we know anything about the name Edward L. Warren
or Edward J. Warren, which apparently was used by both Hunt and-
.,
McCord at times?
ANSWER:
On 23 July 1971 Mr. Hunt was provided with a set of alias docu-
ments in the name of Edward J. Warren and certain support materials.
These were in no way connected with Agency operations, but were sup-
plied by the Agency on the understanding that they were required by
Mr. Hunt in connection with his official duties. The Agency is not
aware of the purpose for which these items were intended or used.
