MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: Watergate Case - Telephone Call to the Director from
Mr. John Hannifin, Time Magazine
1. On Friday, 20 October, the Director received a telephone
call from Mr. John Hennifin of Time magazine. Mr. Hennifin said
that, as Time's investigator into the Watergate case, he had devel-
oped a name who might be working for CIA, in which case the Agency
would be very directly connected with the Watergate case. He asked
for the Director's comments.
