ADDENDUM TO FEBRUARY 1, 1974 MEMORANDUM OF
CONFERENCE
The purpose of the sixth paragraph. is to insure that any such
other use is consistent with the Director's statutory responsibilities
for the protection of intelligence sources and methods.
Volume IV will be returned to the CIA immediately upon the
completion of the proposed interviews and the preparation
of exhibits.

Senator Baker indicated his requirepi� for a Com-
mittee copy of Volume IV,cf1CIA Exhibiti\entitled "Sensitive
Information Provided by CIA Orally (Supplement to Volume III
'Documentation Provided by CIA')" consisting of-7-5- pages.

It is understood that the document and its contents
are sensitive and therefore will be delivered to George
Murphy, who serves as Deputy Director and Security Officer
for the Joint Committee on Atomic Energy and Acting Security
Officer for the Watergate Committee, for custody and care
under the previous arrangement with the Joint Committee on
Atomic Energy and according to this understanding. �
Senator Baker has indicated that he Wishes to interview
Robert Bennett and possibly others referred to in the docu-
ment referred to hereafter as Volume IV.
It is understood that he may use portions of Volume IV
as exhibits to executive interviews under oath for the
purpose of identifying, confirming or disputing the contents
of the documents and that such exhibits will be made part of
the executive hearing record.
Senator Baker further indicated that before any otlicr

Under the Committee rules, access to the secret files
of the Committee are limited to George Murphy, as custodian,
the Chairman and Vice Chairman, Senator Baker and Senator
Ervin. It is understood, however, that any member of the
Committee, as distinguished from staff, on request may examine
but not remove such documents and that if such request is
forthcoming that the Agency will be notified. In addition
to access on the authority of the Chairman or Vice Chairman,
the principal. staff) i.e., Sam Dash and Fred Thompson, may
also be granted authority to examine such documents under
the Committee rules.
Before the Committee uses the document as an Exhibit,
the Committee will let see and make any suggestions,
