an excellent job for us and would submit his full report in the very near future.

c. Noted that Red White and Mr. Garrison had visited yesterday
qpere to go to Boston Wednesday. He also noted that he was going to

d. Referred to Senator Lyndon Johnson's letter concerning the personnel
pool and stated he would have a reply today. In this connection, Mr. Hedden
stated that the pool was in good shape and that Senator Johnson should be
invited to send an accredited representative from his office to inspect the (u)(`-')

Curtain countries' officers and since we would have no representation at this
conference he was requesting Joyce to discuss certain matters of interest to
CIA, including Radio Free Europe. The Director stated that he had told Park
Armstrong that he should have someone at this conference from his office.

a. Stated that in view of the fact the DCI would go to the White House
on Thursday, the 21st, he was prepared to go ahead with the IAC meeting. The
DCI approved.
