Dear officer:
This is a request about the follcm ing topic in which I am currently working
for our Telemundo Los Angeles Newscal.
I would like to obtain all documents containing information regarding:
Mr. Eduardo Diaz Silveti, Mexican citizen, Mr.. Diaz
claims to have worked for C.I.A. under the Mexican Government, from 1957 to
1963. Mr. Diaz also claims to have participated in an operation in December 18th,
1959. Supposedly, during this operation, Mr. Diaz stopped a soviet convoy on
December 1959 in Mexico City and helped NASA scientists and CIA agents to
have access to the technology material on that convoy for few hours. Time
enough, says Mr. Diaz, to steal information and details from a rocket and from
the Lunik 9.
Other persons involved in this operation could be: Warren Dean (possible
CIA agent), Winston Scott, and Robert Zambernardini M. Luchi. I also request
any information or documents probing ti� at these persons in fact worked for the
CIA, and any information or document regarding this operation in Mexico.
