This acknowledges receipt of your 20 August 2002 letter requesting
records under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Specifically, your request is for records pertaining to:
"the disappearance and murder of Army Major William V.
Holohan."
For identification purposes we have assigned your request the number
referenced above. Please refer to this number in future correspondence.
In response to your request, we searched our database of previously
released records and have enclosed two requester reports containing
documents located as a result of previous searches on the same subject that
are responsive to your request. Searches of this database, containing over
500,000 pages, can be accomplished very expeditiously and requiring little or
no review. Therefore, as an act of administrative discretion, we have
determined that no fees will be charged for this request.
If you would like to order documents from the enclosed listing, please
clearly mark those you want and return the entire listing to us. Document
copies will be provided at a cost of ten cents (US$.10) per page less the first
100 pages to which you are entitled free of charge as a requester in the "all
other" category.
