The treasury only contained
between 260 and 520 German Marks. It was mentioned that
they had recently received 900 D'1 as a gift. The source of
the money was not identified. Dues for members are 10 IN
a month. The group has written to some sympathetic organi-
zations in the United States asking for financial assistance
but nothing has been received as yet. A coffee house pro-
ject is being discussed as a possible source of income.
S. American SDS relations with the German SDS: Re-
lations do not appear to be good between these two groups
although some personal contact does exist in Berlin. The
Germans mistrust the American group as being 'infiltrated."

MALONE is an ex-GI who has resided for some time in
Copenhagen and has a Danish wife. He has been working as
a free-lance writer and contributes some articles to the
Danish publication, POLITISK REVY. MALONE recently was
identified as a contact of Stokelv CA EL and Bobby
SEALE.

MALONE was in Berlin in connection
with affibfftrrre BLACK PANTHERS.
The apartment was located at 104 Reichstrasse�, Berlin.
On the first or second floor (European). There were
several names on the door, and one was DITTNER or something
similar. A card was tacked to the door which in the had
light may have read Skip NORMAN. No one answered the door.
We are attempting to identify the occupants of the apartment.
MALONE has been organizing a chapter of the BLACK
PANTHERS in Berlin. It is reported to have fo een
members including David AYERS and Claud. an HEYNINGEN
the latter may be a Dutch nationa
organization will be the recruitment of Negro G.I.'s who
will become active PANTHERS after their discharge and re-
turn to the United States.

He is presently doing odd jobs in Berlin. He resides in
an apartment at 59 Derburgstrasse. AYERS does not appear
to be too bright

Van BROECKNER, a German national, is the Reuters
Bureau chief in West Berlin. She was born 4 October
1940. She was previously the assistant to the former
Bureau chief and appears to be doing a good job in her
present position. She is extremely interested in the
New Left and the American black militant movement. She
is well connected with the German SDS. She goes into
East Berlin frequently

Swedisn raalcals did not have a good opinion
of VALE and suspect him of being a CIA agent. The basis
for this opinion is that VALE is a strange individual,
acts mysteriously, is a bit of an actor, knows several
languages and (last but not least) is over thirty.
