On Tuesday, 7 August 3.9siiiiiain, and the
writer conducted experiments in an between :00 PP and 9:00 PM
with as subjects and/or observers.
This session was opened by a briefing and a lengthy discussion
of the experiments involving nnormal" activity and the relationship
these experiments had to some operational problems. After which,
the following experiments were discussed:

It should be noted. that in both above-tests total amnesia
was obtained.
A.third short experiment was conducted testing whether tke
hearing of a subject under SI could be made sharper. Both

were tested on ten cards which were

were able to identify as much higher pe cen ate

to operator calling the cards. Test is significant, but, of course,
would require exhaustive tests on many subjects before positive con-
clusions could be reached.
