contract for:Dr. . \bupocapnine experiments:
�a. Paragraph 1 to read
"Compensation. In full consideration for the
submission of said report, you will be paid
$500 to defray the cost of the experiments to
be performed by you in oraer to obtain material
for the said report. Two hundred dollars will be
paid you upon your acceptance of this contract,
and upon the satisfactory completion and
submission of said report you will receive a final
$300 payment."
b. Paragraph 2 to be deleted.
2. Our field representative notes that there is no reason for
Dr.-:=7.-Ato report these funds as personal income, since the 500
is to be expended by. --AUniversity-throuzhr Dr. 7Aso1ely for
the purchase, care and feeding of monkeys, and for :travel expenses
to and from '1State Penitentiary.
- j. It has also been -recommended by our field representative'
that the initial *200 be maid to Dr. 'when he himself accepts
the contract rather than when the spear.' Contracting. officer
executes_it, since this execution apparently can be made only after
Dr. �acceptance.-
