I have been over the pile of reprints and other data we have
accumulntt:d on the Lysergic Acid derivative (LSD 25) and find that
essentially all pertinent information from numerous reprints, both in
German and in English, is summarized in the two things I an sending
you herewith. (There is a good deal of misinformation involved :here
also. We can discuss this at a later time.) '..!e have no outside data
on the mcnoethylamide except that communif;.ated by or of mouth from
',52==.7MNOwt; I would appreciate it if you would return these to Lae
when you have finished with them.
I trust that you have already been given four reports, twc en
reports on information obtained in Europe, dated October 20, 1951,
and September 4, 1952, and two reports on our laboratory work, d=.1,d
June 29, 1951, and January 9, 1952. I an unable to th to you
but I could bring them down by hand if you have been unable to get
hold of them.
I also will bring to WashingtIn by hand some notes whch I cannot
sem! thrtugh the mail which surme our on activities to date. I
will call you on Monday from the Na..ional Research Council, where
shall be attending the Committee meeing on Surgery, to see if you are
interested in seeing these notes at his time.
