Egyptian Rockets a. Egypt's "new" two-stage rocket, displayed in Tuesday's pa- rade in Cairo, appears to be a com- bination of two rockets shown last year. b. It seems virtually worth- less as a military weapon. If used as a surface-to-surface missile it might have a range of about 800 nautical miles, but with a small payload. It has no guidance system. Kenya's new African govern- ment, feeling its oats with its new defensive alliance with Ethiopia, is in no mood to give up any terri- tory now, or after independence in December.
