President Johnson's Idaho Falls speech.
Pravda yesterday carried a long edito-
Tia7-7/hich acknowledged the importance
of the subject matter of the speech,
but then went on to say that it also
contained "further anti-Soviet, anti-
Vietnamese, and anti-Communist state-
ments," all of which only proves that
the speech was intended mainly for its
vote-getting effect.
The Soviets at the UN have
informed Ambassador Goldberg that they
"will be glad" to resume the bilateral
talks on outer space--probably sometime
late next week.
Mobutu has been persuaded to send
his foreign minister to Brussels tomor-
row in order to see what can be done to
reduce the friction with the Belgians.
