OATH OF SECRECY AGREEMENT - TERMINATION
KEYHOLE CLEARANCE IN THE
TALENT CONTROL SYSTEM
1,. Joseph Caldwell King , am about to become disassociated
with the KEYHOLE program in the TALENT CONTROL SYSTEM. I realize
that, by virtue of my duties with this program,I have been the recipient of
information and intelligence which concerns the present and future security
of the United States of. America. I am aw.ire that the unauthorized disclosure
of such information is punishable under the Espionage Laws - Title 18, U. S.
Code, Sections 792-797 and the Internal Security Act of 1950, Section 1.9, P.
L. 831, (81st Congress). Accordingly,. I solemnly swear without mental
reservation or purpose of evasion, and in the absence of duress, as follows:
1. I will never divulge, publish, or reveal by writing,
word, conduct, or otherwise, any information relating to the National
Defense, security and intelligence sources, methods and
operations, as. such may be related to the KEYHOLE satellite
program, to anyone, including but not limited to, any future
governmental or private employer, private citizen, or other
government employee or official regardless of the degree or
classification of any security clearance such individual may
poss-ess, without the. express written consent of the TALENT-
KEYHOLE Control Officer or his authorized representative.
2. I do not have any documents or materials in my possession,
classified or unclassified, which are the property of, or in
cu tvdia1. re panstbility of or....relating -to --the-KEYHO LE -program.-..
in the TALENT CONTROL SYSTEM which have come into my
possession as a result of my official duties.
3. I have been advised that in the event I am called upon by the
properly constituted authorities to testify or provide information
which I am pledged hereby not to disclose, I will notify the senior
intelligence officer or his duly authorized KEYHOLE cleared
representative of .the command from which I received my KEYHOLE
clearance. I will also advise said authorities of my secrecy
commitments to the United States Government and will request
that my right or need to testify be establi..hed before I an' required
to do so. I am fully aware that any violation on my part of matters

 sworn to by me under this oath may subject me to-prosecution
under the Espionage Laws. I also understand that my disassociation
with the KEYHOLE program and the termination of my KEYHOLE
clearance is not necessarily a cancellation of my clearance for
the TALENT CONTROL SYSTEM, but applies solely to the
KEYHOLE Satellite Program.
I recognize that prior to undertaking
such travel I will request authorization from. the TALENT Control
Officer or TALENT Security Officer responsible for having obtained
my special clearances. This requirement for prior authorization
will remain in effect for a minimum of one year from. the date of
execution of this KEYHOLE oath or affirmation.
I have read and understand the contents of this oath and voluntarily affix
my signature hereto with the full knowledge that this oath was executed for the
mutual benefit of myself and the United States Government and that it will be
retained in the files of the department or command with which I am now
associated for its future use or for reference by me at any time in the future that
I-may -be re-que-sted -or- or-de.r-ed-to.testify o-r-- disclose -any -of the -matte.rs..included--.
within the scope of this oath.
