The office concerned with Bulgarian affairs has asked me
to convey to you its appreciation for the monthly summary,
"Bulgaria: Notes on Internal and External Developments." I
believe that this report was given formal distribution about
a year ago, partly as a result of our interest expressed at
the time.
The monthly summary is a useful aid to current analysis
of Bulgarian activities and is a valuable document for bath
briefing and reference purposes. We look forward to the con-
tinuation of this series as another research effort in support
of our program.
