To Whom It May Concern:
According to the records on file in this office, Mr. John F. Herlihy, Social
Security Number was first eligible for voluntary retirement
under the provisions of the Central Intelligence Agency Retirement and
Disability System on 23 February 1978. Mr. Herlihy, whose date of birth is
23 February 1928, has retired from Federal service effective 3 January 1985
after having completed more than 34 years of creditable Federal service.
Military service from 27 September 46 through 25 February 1948, was used
in the calculation of his annuity. Mr. Herlihy commenced his Federal
employment with this Agency on 18 March 1952 and continued Agency
employment on a full time basis until his date of retirement.
