DATE : November 4, 1970
REF. No. POVTE-70 1555
I appreciate the information provided in the referenced memo. As
his death is only presumed what is your opinion on whether I should
continue to list his name in requests we provide any contacts we
might have or gain? I assume we will continue to request
information concerning his whereabouts.
Could you please check the records and see if any other actions
have been taken on the other employees whose files we show as
being "open" or "pending further information", that we may not
have,
Per my POVTE-70-1449 our records indicate the following cases
still open.
1, Eugene Debcruln
2, Prasit Promisuwan
3. Prasidhi Traneel
4. Yik Chiu to
5, Ceferino Bautista Nabong
and of course, Ampol Chan-Aium
Pending further advice from you we will continue to leave the name
of Ampol Chan-Aium on the lists now at the US Embassy, as I feel
this is the best course to follow.
