Dear Mr. Pointer:
Pursuant to Section 8 of Executive Order 13462,
"President Is Intelligence Advisory Board and Intelligence
Oversight Board," I am submitting this quarterly report for the
second quarter of calendar year 2008. This report is submitted
in accordance with the July 17 2008 criteria and instructions
jointly issued by the DNI and IOB Chairperson.
In accordance with guidance from the Assistant
to the President for National Security Affairs dated 18 August
2006, 1 am sending this report to you, as the General Counsel of
the PFIAB,. instead of to the Chairman of.the Intelligence
Oversight Board (IOB). I am aware of eight (8) reportable
items, which are listed below. None of these incidents had any
significant impact on national security or international
