Dear Mrs. Maloney:
This is a follow-up response to your letter of July
31, 2001, which forwarded correspondence from your
constituent, President of Georal,
contacted your office for assistance with respect to his
interest in marketing the GIL-2001 system, a patented
entrance securit s stem, to the Central intelligence
Agency (CIA). has now contacted this office in
this regard.
According to a representative of Georal, one of the
company's security door systems is currently being tested
and certified for use by the Department of State. Because
of the CIA's interest in keeping abreast of current
developments with respect to both existing and emerging
security products, we have asked that Georal advise the
Agency once the report of the final test results has been
completed. CIA will then request a copy of that report
from Georal or the Department of State, as appropriate.
Because this office does not correspond directly with

Dear Mr. Moseman,
On February 22, 2001 1 sent a letter to Mr. George Tenent - Director of the CIA regarding our
door system. (Copy enclosed A)
On May 3, 2001 Georal did a formal presentation'to the CIA staff including
and CIA consultants. This meeting went extremely well especially with regards to our ballistics
and forced-entry capabilities.
Georal was told that a laundry list would be sent to us with additional CIA specific needs - Today
6 months later we have had no response from the CIA.
Please find enclosed a response from the CIA Consultants. (Copy enclosed B)
On July 31, 2001 Congresswomen Carolyn Maloney sent correspondence asking about our
situation. Again we have received no response.
Our product will solve a great deal of security needs especially in today's environment. Our
U. S. Airports, Federal Buildings, Courthouses, etc. will be a 1000 times safer with. our, door.

Re Request for Meeting regarding the GIL-2001 Security Door System
Our company is the premier manufacturer of a patented entrance security system One of the
most important and unique features of our system is that it is non-confrontational. We have been
in business since 1Q82 providing secure access for government and commercial facilities not only
in the United States. but also abroad.
Of potential interest to you is that we have a GSA number (#GS-07F-0433K) and a patent
pending (#601104, 874) with an international patent application (#US 99/03218) for our product.
The door is the only security door approved by the FAA for egress and the U.S State Department
for domestic use In order to certify the doors for international use by their agency the U S. State
Department has scheduled two additional tests for next month.
Attached for your convenience is a brief product statement. Presently we are under contract with
the City of New York for 44 doors at various facilities. In addition we have installed doors at the
main finance facility at Citibank, at O'Hare Airport. at Newark Airport and at Dallas-Fort Worth
International Airport, just to name a few. Besides the United States we have also installed the
Georal 2001 system at various locations in Europe and Australia.

I tried to call you back but kept getting a circuit busy message. I

the phone lines are a little busy up there.
There has been no change in the project. The customer has not done
anything
about funding the requirement or looking at options. They are waiting
for
the tenant to come up with money for the architectural review before
anything-goes forward.
As I mentioned before, we have been asked not to do anything. about
generating lists of requirements until the customer figures out what
they
want and intend to pay for it. We will give you a call when that
happens.
