On behalf of the Intrepid Society I would like to extend my sincere
thanks for the kind invitation and hospitality given our delegation on the visit to
Washington on May 2' .
The museum tour conducted b was very interesting and gave
us many ideas for our future museum honouring Sr liam Stephenson.
We are now meeting with the 1 Canadian Air Division to secure a prominent
location at their Headquarters in Winnipeg for the display of the superlative medallion
you presented to the society during our visit. The site is a very appropriate one, as it is
also the Headquarters of the Northern Command of NORAD.
Again, my thanks for the kind reception and I hope that the maquette of Intrepid
will serve as a reminder of the friendship that exists between our nations.
