This is a final response to your 15 May 1987 Freedom of Information Act
(FOIA) request for OSS information concerning Carl Jung. Your request was
processed in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. �552,
and the CIA Inforrration Act, 50 U.S.C. �431. Our processing included a search
for records in existence as of and through the date of our acceptance letter
dated 10 June 1987.
A search of the OSS index under "Carl Jung" located the following
documents, copies of which were still in the possession of this agency.
Enclosed, Tab A, are copies of Documents 1 through 4 which are being released
to you in their entirety. Also enclosed, Tab B, is a copy of segregabie
portions of Document 5, a Report dated 4 October 1946. Deletions from #5 were
made under FOIA exemptions (b)(1) and (b)(3); an explanation of these
exemptions is enclosed as Tab C.
