1. The purpose of supplementing Subproject 51-3 is to
provide additional funds_to allow for an increase in scope of _
the original work. This_inorease in-scope consiats of the--
synthesis of a number of otherwise unobtainable chemical compounds
which are needed in other projects.
2. The cost of_thia_supplement_will not'exceed $1,200.00
and charges should:be made against Allotment 8-2502-10-001. Since

2. The processing of these materials by extraction and frac-
tionation procedures, with the purpose of-obtaining extracts.

activity, and of furnishing such-extracts for pharmacological
evaluation.
