SUBJECT Request for Quality Step Increase
Mr. John C. Caranci, Grade GS 11
1. On the basis of the information presented in this
memorandum and his excellent record of performance it is
recommended that a Quality Step Increase be approved for
Mr. Caranci.
2. Mr. Caranci is a Senior) Technologist with

October 1963. He was recommended for promo ion rom both
units and is presently Acting Chief of the
unit during the frequent TDY's of the assigne ie . Mr.
Caranci is a highly skilled Mechanical Technologist and
an imaginative and ingenious craftsman. Mr.
Caranci's performance during ni-s agency career has con-
sistently reflected a high degree of skill, accomplishment,
and dedication to duty.
3. Mr. Caranci has performed at this high level of
competence in for the last three years. We have
every reason o expec that he will continue to do so.
