SJUtcCT USSR Artificial Satellites Will Work
on Frequencies of 20 and 40 Mcs
1. We (Soviets) have begun with the organization of MOONWATCH sta-
tions. We have appealed to all Soviet astronomers to take part in
this work.
2. We are counting on an orbit with the angle of inclination of 60?, but
several southern stations are so situated that they will be able to
participate in observing the American satellite. All this work is
being coordinated by the Astronomical Council of the Academy of
Sciences of the USSR.
