Quantum Computing Scientist

Quantum Scientists will be part of an elite team driving research and development of the industry’s most advanced quantum computing hardware and software.

  • Starting salary: $68,405 - $181,216*
  • *Higher starting salary possible depending on experience level

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics or other related technical field.
  • At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale
  • Ability to convey technical information to a diverse audience both through written reports and presentations.
  • A background in quantum physics, quantum information, and/or quantum computing.
  • Strong teamwork skills especially with working in interdisciplinary teams with professionals from other fields of physics and engineering and in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to work independently on complex tasks.
  • Proven record of research and accomplishment.
  • Experience in developing and executing to project budgets.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation
